“Burial Grounds”, Originally a dual canvas piece, painted live with Stick Figure at Reggae in the Desert 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada, inspired by the album “Burial Ground” by Stick Figure and the song “Burials” by the Dirty Heads. Had a moment to hang out with the guys before we went on stage, they told me I was one of, if not the best live artist around. Proud moment for me since Stick Figure is basically my favorite band in the reggae genre. It was so hot on stage that Jimmy Ovadia kept bringing me water the entire time. At 114 degrees, I almost passed out during the set, with symptoms of heat exhaustion setting in… I lost control of my leg and arm on the left side of my body during the last song. Had to hobble off stage to the back and dump ice all over myself from the cooler. Luckily made it through to paint another day! Would I do it again? You bet!!!
